Wellness at Chivi RDC means nurturing both our people and our purpose. When employees are healthy, motivated, and connected, they serve the community better — promoting well being that extends beyond the workplace into the lives of those we serve. | Wellness Wednesdays at Chivi RDC are about more than fitness — they’re about connection and rejuvenation. Through sport, group exercises, and light-hearted activities on the grounds, staff get a chance to de-role, relax, and strengthen teamwork outside the office setting. These sessions promote both physical and mental well being while fostering unity and a positive workplace culture. A healthy, happy team serves the community better! | At Chivi RDC, employee wellness is a priority. Every Wednesday, our staff take part in wellness activities such as aerobics and health check-ups to promote physical fitness and early detection of health risks. This week’s session included a visit from a mobile clinic where employees had their blood pressure, weight, and BMI checked. A healthy workforce is the foundation of effective service delivery — we work better when we feel better! |
2025 Local Authorities Indaba (Bulawayo)
Chivi Rural District Council proudly took center stage at the 2025 Local Authorities Indaba in Bulawayo. Led by our councilors and senior staff, we stood as a beacon of rural transformation, showcasing our achievements alongside urban councils from across the country. We were honored to be one of the few rural district councils awarded a full exhibition stand, and we made it count.
